Trade wars cost real jobs

It’s one thing to talk theoretically about the impact of a trade war. It’s another thing to be caught in the crossfire.

But that’s where I am.

Or more literally, that’s where 60 or so independent newspapers contractors found themselves this month when they lost their jobs.
