Besides that line, what do we know about Christopher Columbus? He was born in 1451 in Genoa, Italy, and was a contemporary of other Italians such as Bottecelli and Michaelangelo.








County schools close year

A public hearing Monday will give people the chance to learn about the Marion County School District’s property taxes and 2019 budget.

The meeting is set for 5:30 p.m. July 2 at its offices on Mississippi 13 North. The district is requesting the same amount as last year.
