Drowning investigated

The Mississippi Department of Wildlife, Fisheries and Parks is continuing to investigate last Friday’s drowning death of a Marion County man at Lake Columbia.

Bennie Yates, 62, of Bunker Hill was pronounced dead at the scene by Coroner Norma Williamson.
